About me - moritz kirste

Visual storytelling that connects people and brands

“My goal is to create visual communication that doesn’t just inform, but transforms and inspiring people to see, think, and act differently.
Stories can change how we see the world — and that’s why I tell them.”

Background & Experience

I’m Moritz Kirste, a Berlin-based videographer, photographer, creative director, and social media strategist.
I create visual stories that connect emotion, aesthetics, and brand identity — turning ideas into cinematic experiences and long-lasting impressions.

I started making videos when I was just eleven years old. What began as a simple curiosity quickly became a deep passion and eventually, my profession.
Since 2021, I’ve been working full-time in the creative industry, producing high-quality visual content for artists, brands, and festivals.

Approach & Philosophy

My work combines concept development, creative direction, cinematography, and editing — always with the goal of getting the most out of every production and telling stories that truly resonate.

What sets my work apart is my sense for emotion-driven storytelling and my ability to create visuals that move people and remain relevant in today’s fast-paced media environment.

Through my background in Business Communication, I’ve learned how to not only craft strong visuals but also build authentic brands and narratives that connect with people on a deeper level. I always aim to find the perfect balance between my own creative vision and the identity of the artist or brand I work with.

I want to create something that feels true to both sides.

Clients & Collaborations

Over the past years, I’ve had the chance to collaborate with a variety of clients such as Adidas, Hyundai, Viktoria Berlin, and Happy Slice by influencers Knossi & Trymacs.
I’ve also worked with artists including YouNotUs, Timmy Trumpet, and Cascada, as well as producing projects in the real estate sector.

In 2024, I received the Young Talent Award for my documentary project titled “Summende Hoffnung – Die Kraft der kleinen Helden.”
In 2025, I filmed a documentary in Nepal for the Kunststiftung Sachsen-Anhalt as part of the 100 Years of Bauhausproject with Benita Koch-Otte.

Personal Values & Interests

Outside of my projects, I’m passionate about sports, music, and travel.
Working closely with YouNotUs has kept me deeply connected to the music scene, and I love that my job allows me to explore new places and meet inspiring people around the world.

My personal motto:

“When I’m old, I don’t want to regret anything I didn’t do.”
