In 2024, I produced and submitted a short documentary for a film festival – a project designed to raise awareness of an urgent but often overlooked issue within a limited time frame. The film was honored with the Young Talent Award.

At its core, the documentary explores the phenomenon of bee mortality and the crucial role bees play in sustaining our climate and ecosystem. Through visual storytelling, it connects the global ecological crisis with local urban life by portraying beekeeping in the heart of Berlin – highlighting both, the challenges and the quiet beauty of coexisting with nature in a metropolitan environment.

Beyond its environmental focus, the film reflects an approach rooted in strategic communication and social impact: how moving imagery can translate complex issues into emotional understanding and inspire reflection.
